START 1 MAP 2 LIVE 3 When Miles was about one and a half years old, he developed ear infections, sore throats, sinus infections, allergies and asthma. While using traditional methods of treatment, such as antibiotics, antihistamines, allergy shots and asthma breathing treatments, Miles’ conditions showed little improvement. In fact, it continued to get worse with each round of antibiotics. Totally frustrated with traditional methods of treatment that were not helping at all, I took Miles to a chiropractor. After three months of chiropractic care, Miles was free from all medications, allergy shots, and asthma breathing treatment! That was enough to make me want to become a chiropractor. Miles’ Drawing When I was about to graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic, Miles drew this illustration. This is what his vision was of the sign for my office. When I asked him why he drew it, he answered, “Because, Mom, if you wouldn’t have taken me to the chiropractor to be adjusted, I would still be sick.” This is why I do what I do.
